A stoma is a surgically made opening in the abdomen that allows body waste to be extracted from the body directly through the end of the bowel into a collection bag that is traditionally attached to the stoma.

Create Medtech worked in collaboration with Ampa Medical, to improve the life quality of people with a stoma.

The solution was a discreet alternative to the stoma bag, that absorbs and contains the liquid intestinal waste inside the intestine. Thereby helping users regain control of emptying their bowels. This along with leakage-proof technology provides users with more comfort and freedom of movement, increasing their quality of life.
