Heart2Heart is a care-based safety solution designed for everyday moments of feeling unsafe, not just emergencies.

Built on the understanding that safety looks different for everyone, Heart2Heart introduces a more human approach to protection. The solution is centered around communal safety, where connection, presence, and reassurance are key.

The product consists of a physical keychain connected to a mobile app. With a simple squeeze, users can share their location with their chosen trusted network, enabling real-time support and subtle, calming feedback through heartbeat-like vibrations, a small but powerful “I’m here.”

Operating across different levels, from presence to active support, Heart2Heart adapts to each situation, giving users control while making care tangible and accessible.c

Create Medtech partnered with Heart2Heart to bring their vision to life, translating an early-stage concept into a fully functional and scalable product.

When Heart2Heart came to us, they had an initial prototype and early ideas around form and materials, but needed guidance to define a clear development path and realize a solution that could meet both user needs and technical requirements.

We worked closely with the team to:

• Define and guide the overall product development journey
• Translate concept ideas into a manufacturable solution
• Align functionality, usability, and design with the core vision
• Continuously iterate through prototyping and testing

What We Did

Our role covered the full development of the product’s physical and technical foundation:

• Designed and developed the PCB (electronic architecture of the product)
• Designed the heart-shaped casing through iterative prototyping and testing
• Developed and optimized the silicone sleeve, refining material, feel, and usability
• Integrated Heart2Heart’s brand identity into the physical product
• Ensured the solution met both technical requirements and user expectations

Today, Heart2Heart has evolved into a refined and functional product, ready to reach end users.

We are currently supporting the second production batch, with the product set to be released soon. The solution now stands as a strong example of how thoughtful design and engineering can come together to create meaningful, human-centered technology.
